Job Description

  • Responsible for sales in the Oil and Gas Industry for the company products and partner products.
  • Liaise with ADNOC and other government for completion of registration.
  • Draft and finalize various types of associations, contracts, MOU, MOA with partner companies.
  • Maintain relationship with all the partners on periodical approaches.
  • Serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
  • Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Establish new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.
  • Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
  • Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Submit orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes.
  • Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


  • Collect Approved Enquiry Checklist form and supporting documents received with the enquiry (i.e. approved enquiries) Quotations from suppliers or principals, for the approved enquiries, the concerned sales engineers shall request for quotations from the principals or suppliers, through email with key details of the customer enquiry. Due date of providing the Quotations by the principals or suppliers shall be mentioned in the communication.
  • In-case of a new principal or supplier, then request the Sales Support team to complete the agreement, registration and prequalification formalities of the customer. On receipt of the quotations from the suppliers or principals through email, review them to ensure they are as per the customer RFQ requirements.
  • Then prepare the Comparative Quote statement of the multiple quotations received from various suppliers or principals.
  • Negotiate for price reduction from the suppliers or principals.
  • Prepare the Cost sheet (draft) for the least quoted suppliers or principals. (Estimate of the Financing & Logistic details shall be obtained from the Finance & Accounts or Procurement & Logistics Departments).
  • In-case of modification required, then the specific remarks shall be obtained from the Authorized person in the Cost sheet and necessary action needs to be taken.
  • Responsible for preparing the technical information for the bid: 'Technical Offer' letter.
  • Perform periodic follow-up with the customer / enquiry source for the open bids i.e. submitted with pending response.
  • On a regular basis, contact the customers through email / call and obtain feedback on service provided. In-case of feedback with insight information, maintain a record of the feedback received and inform the Team Leader Sales.
  • In-case of complaints received from customer, discuss the complaint with the Team Leader Sales and obtain feedback for resolution.
  • Inform the customer about the resolution or status of resolution.
  • Take necessary steps as per the recommendations.

  • Oversee the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting the individual sales target, and facilitate the ongoing of the salespeople.


  • Preferred experience in the oil company. (Abu Dhabi)
  • Should be from the chemical trading industry.
  • Familiarity with office software and phone systems.
  • Background from Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of UAE Oil & Gas industry sales experience.
  • A valid UAE driving license.
