Job Description
- Prepare cost estimates and bid documents.
- Acquire comparative quotations for materials and subcontractor services.
- Differentiate subcontractor proposals with the required project scope.
- Assist the bidding process by development and preparation of MEP System cost estimates for construction projects and services as required.
- Estimate project costs.
- Collect details and compile data to estimate all costs according to the written scope of work and/or drawings and specifications.
- Read and understand the Technical Portion of proposals to make sure all costs are calculated.
- Maintain a tracking log of bid information on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in UAE as an MEP Estimator.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Negotiation abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
