Job Description
- Daily interact with the construction team of civil contractor,client and consultants representative.
- Directly responsible for schedule, and quality of works, arranging materials, managing sub-contractors, suppliers, manufacturers etc.
- Construction document management including submittal review, drawings, SIR’s,MIR’s, MSS etc.
- Understand basic electrical system principles including switchgear, PLC and circuit breakers.
- Oversee and direct construction projects from start to end.
- Adhere to building and safety regulations.
- Provide training for construction workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure all mechanical equipment needed is available on site.
- Perform quality inspections.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time and oversee progress.
Requirements
- Experience directly related to the design or construction of data centres/critical infrastructure or large scale mechanical plants.
- Possess clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to use data to justify conclusions.
- Value engineering: proven ability to reduce costs through creative solutions with no impact on quality and reliability (new designs, technology, or construction methods).
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.
- Experience in controls and commissioning of large scale projects (PLC, DCIM, BMS etc).
- Male candidates with 7 and above years of experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical system, installation, testing & commissioning of Chiller water piping system, Chiller, AHU, FAHU, cooling system, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting etc, preferably in Data Centre.
- Good command of the English and Hindi language.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
