Job Description
- Examine building specifications, codes, and sites.
- Prepare technical drawings from architects' sketches and specifications.
- Utilize CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
- Enter CAD data into BIM systems to produce 3-D models and renderings.
- Develop drawings, charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.
- Visit sites to carry out measurements and calculate dimensions as required.
- Coordinate with architects and construction engineers to make sure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.
- Remain abreast of the latest developments and technologies in architectural design.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- In-depth knowledge of building design, specifications and codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field.
